Frequently Asked Questions
Will THC-Free or Full Spectrum products cause me to fail a drug test?
It is unlikely that you will fail a drug test due to a CBD product. However, the chances increase if you consume a large amount of Full Spectrum CBD daily. To avoid testing positive for the presence of cannabis on a drug test, buy THC-free Broad Spectrum CBD.
Are Hemp Oil and CBD Oil the Same Thing?
There is a lot of confusion in the CBD landscape today, especially when it comes to terminology. Unfortunately, manufacturers are profiting from this confusion by selling hemp-based products that are not true hemp extract products.
When you hear the term “hemp oil,” it can denote hemp seed oil or refer to a hemp-based CBD (cannabidiol) extract.
Hemp seed oil is a dietary oil rich in omega-3. It is consumed as cooking oil or used as an ingredient in the skin and beauty industry. Hemp seed oil is produced by pressing the seeds of the plant to extract the oil. Since cannabis seeds do not contain cannabinoids, there are no traces of CBD or THC.
Hemp extract is harvested from the resin found in the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant and is rich in cannabinoids and terpenes. These raw extracts are bitter and potent, making them extremely difficult to use as a pure extract, which is why they are often combined with a carrier oil such as hemp seed oil, olive oil, or MCT coconut oil to make the most pleasant dosage and palatability.
We create all Salvus CBD products by extracting cannabinoids from raw hemp into a THC-free FULL SPECTRUM or BROAD SPECTRUM extract. From here, our formulators create unique CBD products that are innovative and effective.
If you can’t tell the difference between buying hemp seed oil or hemp-based CBD extract, ask to see the lab reports for the product in question. While sharing independent laboratory testing is not yet an industry requirement, it is becoming a standard for products containing cannabis compounds.
It’s no secret that the cannabis market is full of deceptions, which is why looking at a product certificate analysis from a third-party lab can tell you exactly what’s in your product, from cannabinoid and terpene profiles to residual solvents. (from extraction) and pesticides or other potential contaminants from agriculture and processing.
What does Salvus CBD hemp extract contain?
Salvus CBD’s Full Spectrum CBD Oil combines non-GMO hemp extracted from the whole plant with cold-pressed MCT oil. Includes more than 100 natural plant cannabinoids, such as CBD, CBG, CBN among others. Our Broad Spectrum CBD items contain less than 0.2% THC, while our THC-free Broad Spectrum CBD products undergo filtration to ensure they are completely free of THC.
Can Salvus CBD oil make you high?
Salvus products are remarkably potent and effective, containing less than 0.2% THC. Rest assured, whatever product you select will not cause any psychoactive effects. Responsible dosing is essential to maximizing the benefits of our products and our convenient dosing guide is available to assist you in this regard. Additionally, consider exploring our THC-Free Broad Spectrum CBD line for completely THC-free options.
How does CBD work?
The nervous system receptors are stimulated!
CBD interacts with cannabinoid receptors located in the endocannabinoid system, vital for supporting the optimal functioning of crucial bodily systems. As CBD accumulates in the body, it has the potential to increase cannabinoid receptors. This increase leads to increased activity within the endocannabinoid system. A constant daily dosage helps preserve CBD levels in your body, promoting a feeling of relaxation, promoting restful sleep.
Can I pay in installments by card?

Does the type of CBD extraction matter?
The extraction process directly affects the quality of your CBD product.
The two most popular industrial CBD extraction methods are CO2 and ethanol extraction.
CO2 extraction uses CO2 (carbon dioxide), compressed to a supercritical point where it behaves more like a liquid than a gas. If you recognize this chemical abbreviation, it’s because we breathe CO2 through our own lungs.
The advantage of using CO2 extraction is that it does not leave any harmful solvent residue like butane hash oil (BHO) extraction methods. CO2 extraction is considered the gold standard for producing clean, high-quality hemp extract, and it is much better for the environment and the people who work with it, as CO2 is non-toxic.
Ethanol extraction is another popular and generally safe extraction method used in the healthcare and cosmetics industry, but it is a longer process.
Supercritical CO2 is used in all Salvus CBD products and independent laboratory results confirm that our extracts are free from solvent contamination, pesticides and have an extensive cannabinoid and terpene profile.
